Electrolysis

Electrolysis is the only form of permanent hair removal on the market. Using Sterex's SX-B Epilator, we are able to deliver three modes of hair removal; Thermolysis, Galvanic and Blend. Due to the precise nature of the treatment, electrolysis is better suited to treat small areas such as the face, underarms and brazilian. It is also suitable for all skin types and tones, however unlike laser hair removal, electrolysis works on ALL coloured hairs including grey, blonde and ginger. 

Electrolysis can also be performed over tattoos. 

Please note that as a safety precaution a patch test/consultation is required before being able to undergo full treatments regardless of whether or not electrolysis has been done elsewhere in the past.

 The purpose of a patch test/consultation: 

- allows time to find the working point (the modality and associated level at which the hairs respond to). Once we have the working point, we will finish off the remainder of the hour. 

- allows the client to get a feel for the treatment to see if they're comfortable to continue with full sessions. Different areas on the body have varying sensitivity

- allows assessment of recovery. No two skins are the same. Recovery varies between individuals (dependant on multiple factors).

Those who are not wanting to undergo a patch test will not be booked in for full treatments.
